Alumni Scholarship

• Amount and number of scholarships awarded may vary from year to year depending on available funds. 

• Checks are given to the recipients at the Spring FFA Awards Night.

• Any graduating senior Litchfield FFA member pursuing post-secondary education is eligible to apply. 

• Applicants must be listed on the official Litchfield FFA membership roster with the National FFA Organization. 

• This scholarship can be used for 2+ year degrees, trade schools, extended certifications, or special licenses such as a CDL, commercial applicator, etc. 

• Pursuing an agricultural program or degree is not required, but preferred.

This sheet provides information about the applicant. Please complete all areas of this information sheet clearly and accurately. 

Questionnaire

This provides insight into the applicant’s involvement in FFA at the local, regional, state, and national levels, as well as agricultural classes, service projects, and other community organizations. This section also contains an impact statement to summarize how being an FFA student has impacted the applicant's life and future plans.

Letter of Recommendation

The letter of recommendation must come from someone other than the chapter FFA advisors, members of the scholarship committee, or relatives of the applicant.

Signature page

All signatures other than the FFA advisor signature is required prior to submitting the application. The FFA advisor will sign off after review to verify submitted application information is accurate.

Interview

Applicants will take part in an interview with the scholarship committee. Official dress is REQUIRED for this interview. Interviews will be the same night as Peanut Butter & Milk delegate interviews- unless there are major scheduling conflicts.
